Dragi moji, danas ću sa vama podeliti jedan svoj san. Volela bih da jednog dana živim u Kaliforniji.
Upoznala sam nestvarne plaže ovog grada (Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Venice, Malibu, Huntington Beach)i osetila njegovu fantastičnu energiju. Opčinjena sam ovim gradom, i iako sam imala velika očekivanja, nije me izneverio (kao npr. Njujork).
Pored velikog izbolja raznih prodavnica, ućivala sam i u njegovim fontanama i mini koncertu.
If America is a land of dreams, Los Angeles is a city of dreams. I had the best time ever in the city of my dreams, City of Angels. I would really love to live there one day, I adore California, and this city is my favorite for so many things. But the most important and the most simple reason is that I just feel like I belonge there, that for me, that is the place to be.
Los Angeles is often billed as the “Creative Capital of the World,” due to the fact that one in every six of its residents works in a creative industry. And Hollywood is the movie capital of the world.
And here’s my mini guide, if you find yourself in Los Angeles, these are things that you shouldn’t miss:
Although I walked on Walk of Fame and went to see the famous Hollywood sign, like all the tourists, but I also had the opportunity to feel the real magic of LA and its Westside. I enjoyed in all the pretty beaches (Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Venice, Malibu, Huntington Beach) and felt the fantastic Los Angeles energy. I’m fascinated by this city, and even though I had high expectations, L.A. did not let me down (eg, New York did ). I will never forget the entrance to this city, I literally screamed with joy (which you can see in my video). The first thing I saw was a large Mickey Rourke (the younger, “Nine and a half weeks,” days Mickey) poster, and the skyscrapers followed.
The adventure we started cocktails on the hotel Standard rooftop. It is too bad the pool was closed because it was warm enough for swimming. All in all, it was definitely awesome. Houses around Rodeo Drive were the most luxurious I have ever seen (and those at Beverly Hills), as well as the stores along this famous street. Robertson Boulevard is a very interesting street where the famous Ivy restaurant is and where you can often run into a celebrity (I was not so lucky). The Grove is an open-air shopping/dining center, home to more than 100 stores, located in the Fairfax District. The Grove is so chic and charming place, it has beautiful fountains, sidewalk cafes, imported Italian pavilions, a soaring bronze angel statue, lovely decorated side streets, and best stores. Farmers market is right next to it is the oldest farmer’s market and I loved it. This is the place where you can see all the vendors – mainly self-serve restaurants, bakeries, juice bar, and then some fruit/vegetable vendors. It has everything from soup to alligator tail to the Brazilian sword barbecue, which is delicious! I had the opportunity to try something from the KogiTruck’s, it’s amazing Korean- Mexican fusion food truck, I loved the food there! Btw see movie Chef (2014), it’s a cool movie about a food truck. :).
The Hollywood is a place where you chase the stars, literally and figuratively. So one evening we visited the Griffith Observatory and watched the stars and Jupiter through special telescopes. All in all, I had a surreal and unforgettable experience and the city in and I will definitely be back.
